Osmand: Android Offline map

How to use offline map with OpenStreetMap data.

# cf. http://code.google.com/p/osmand/wiki/HowToArticles

1. Download zipped (.obf) map data from http://download.osmand.net/rawindexes/
2. Unzip .obf into /sdcard/osmand
3. Install "osmand" from the Market
4. Done

Now you can browse map offline, no 3G or Internet connection are needed.

Currently, map of Japan and Vietnam are available.

Wikipedia is available on osmand pro only.

POI data included in the .obf file looks ugly for level 1-7 :)
